As Jump Start founders, both Adam and I (Tom), were thrilled to receive the prestigious award this year at the annual Good Design Awards Gala Dinner during Sydney's Vivid Festival. Whilst the award recognises the Jump Start program's approach to innovative education, like any design project we will continue to refine, iterate and improve the program in order to ensure that it delivers a highly rewarding and effective educational experience for high school students.

In creating Jump Start, our goal was to arm students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the 21st Century. In teaching design thinking, creativity and social entrepreneurship, our best efforts are placed in creating future social innovators and entrepreneurs passionate about creating positive social impact.

We'd like to thank the students for their hard work and passion and the teachers (especially Maygen Schwarze, Camilla White and Dwayne Scicluna), program partners and PSSC Principal John Thornberry for the endless feedback, support and help in delivering Jump Start.
